Petr Dorůžka, freelance journalist, music writer and radio presenter. Since 1988 he runs a show on Czech National Radio (60 minutes per week now), contributes to Czech and international music magazines and has written books on alternative, contemporary, and world music. Petr has been lecturing World Music at Charles University since 2002, directed the conference program at the Czech Music Crossroads in Ostrava, and served at the board of SoundCzech export office. In 2017 he received the WOMEX Professional Excellence Award. He is active as a consultant for Czech festivals and artists and likes to travel a lot.
