Davy Sims is a multi-award winning media producer. He started his career in 1979 in local radio in Belfast, then to BBC Radio Ulster in 1986 and spent time in BBC Radios 1 and 4 in London. In addition to producing and presenting radio and TV he led the emerging New Media department in BBC NI. In recent years he has been producing a world music radio programme which is broadcast and streamed in UK, Spain, Germany, Namibia, New Zealand, Singapore, and St. Lucia. He is a member of the World Music Chart Europe jury.
